Who We Are

Babaloo Publishing ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Sweden, operates the website babaloopublishing.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our site or interact with our services. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Babaloo Publishing is operated by a Swedish entity, which acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

Information you provide

  • Email address and name when you subscribe to our newsletter or an author's mailing list. When you submit a signup form, we also record which page or book the signup came from, so we can understand how readers find us.
  • Contact information if you reach out to us directly

Information collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages readers spend time on. It is a cookieless, privacy-first service: it does not set cookies, does not store any persistent identifier in your browser, and cannot be used to track you across visits or across other websites. The beacon records the page URL, referring page, screen size, browser and operating system, and an approximate country derived from your IP address.

Our web host, Cloudflare, also keeps standard, aggregated server logs for security and uptime. These are not used to profile individual visitors. We do not run any other analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Email Marketing

We use MailerLite to manage our email lists. When you subscribe, your information is stored and processed by MailerLite in accordance with their privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare for hosting and cookieless Web Analytics (described above), and MailerLite for email delivery. MailerLite only receives your data when you actively submit a newsletter form. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless. Simply browsing this site does not set any cookies on your device. If you submit a newsletter form, MailerLite may set cookies as part of processing that submission — see their privacy policy linked above.

Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
